As Americas Director, Chris will provide a high-level oversight for the successful delivery of all PhUSE events within North and South America, ensuring high-quality content and maintaining budgetary control. These include the region’s annual Connect and Single Day Events (SDE).
“It is incredibly rewarding to make a positive impact on the industry, within PhUSE and my own organization at MMS. Improving data standards and delving into emerging areas like the use of real world evidence in the health sector, for instance, has been gratifying and motivating at the same time,” said Chris Hurley, Associate Director, Global Data Operations, Standards, and Systems at MMS, and PhUSE Americas Director. “I have always believed in supporting your community, personally and professionally, and this allows me to give back to a career that has given me so much.”
Chris was first nominated to the position of US Events Director in 2014 and now holds the position of Americas Director to help advance PhUSE’s learning and networking opportunities for clinical data scientists across the Americas. Additionally, Chris is a member of the conference, newsletter, and single day event (SDE) committees.
