Brian Lavery has an impressive career spanning 22 years, including 14 specifically in the clinical research industry. He is a prominent figure in both pharmaceutical and CRO sales leadership.

In 2009, Brian embarked on his clinical research journey with PPD, where he led the West Coast phase II-IV business development team with great success. This strategic leadership led to a remarkable increase in sales over a period of seven years. Brian’s distinct talent in forming and guiding teams of varying experience levels has solidified his reputation in the field. His illustrious career also includes key leadership roles in business development at companies like Syneos Health and ICON, where he supervised a global team specializing in areas such as Clinical, Biometrics, PV (Pharmacovigilance), Medical Affairs, and IRT (Interactive Response Technology) stand-alone services.

Away from his professional life, Brian revels in the scenic beauty of Colorado’s outdoors, engaging in recreational activities such as skiing, cycling, hiking, and golfing. As a key member of MMS’s Commercial Leadership Team, Brian’s responsibilities extend to managing all US-based Business Development directors. His extensive expertise and profound understanding are directed toward guiding the Business Development teams to excel, while also opening new avenues for growth within MMS.
